• What challenges were you facing before starting our sessions? 

Many behavioural issues, sitting down for even short periods, running around with food in his  

Hands, not able to use playdough, no able to stop went ask to do so, running and jumping through

windows, opening fridge and pantry at all times, very dysregulated, tantrums lasting up to 6 hours,

no using utensils, refusing new food, lost of earlier words.

• How has my guidance and strategies helped your child’s development? 

EXCELLENT. To be honest i didnt know what to do with him anymore. It was really hard every day trying to do the smallest thing was so hard. The strategies helped us to get organised when the issues arrised. It gave us the tools to provide the structure he needed. It helped us to understand what was required to provide a safe and secure environment where we all could learn and thrive.

• In what ways have you, as a parent, benefited from my services? 

By been able to support Lucas in his learning process. We know know his capabilities, his level of understanding, we know he is able to learn and to remember things he learned even if he didnt practice them for a while.  

We learned how to help him with regulation by applying the technics provided by Luci. I think the most important was that she was able to see him in his own environment (i.e. school and home) so she could see his behaviours and our limitations on managing them or contribution to his behaviours.  

Having another adult modelling for us  how to manage a tamtrum was for me personally mind blowing.   

Understanding that Lucas as any other kid need clear boundaries for healthy development.

• What was the most valuable aspect of our sessions for you? 

Having you seen my challenges in real time and providing your knowledge on and experience how to manage it.

Having someone who has a great commitment with our child knowing that you have his best interest in hand.

Working across with home, school and other therapist is a full approach to ensure there is consistency and we are all working towards the same goals in the same way.  

Your approach is very flexible and consistent. This is really positive for a child who needs structure and consistency.

• Would you recommend my services to other parents? Why or why not? 

Yes of course, because your professionalism is reflected on Lucas progress. You are one of the very few professionals who understand that the child is the priority above everything and everyone.

I dont think you get to appreciate the impact that this has in a family and in the child. I tell you we can now have dinners together and even when he has ate earlier, Lucas comes and sits and hang up with us, not sure if this could have been achieved without you.

We will always be greatful for all your commitment and hard work.
